THE AUTHOR

Brandall Laughlin is an author and illustrator, as well as a professional photographer. She was born and raised in Dallas, Tx and earned her BFA from Southern Methodist University in painting, drawing and photography. She is the mama to four sons, one of which was the inspiration behind “Do Butterflies Make Butter?” She illustrates her stories with whimsical artwork that bring a child’s curious perspective of the world into view. She currently lives and works in Oxford, Mississippi.
